Your Child’s Safety Comes First

At WonderKids Creative, creating a safe and welcoming environment for children and their parents/carers is extremely important. Sessions are designed to be creative, enjoyable, and safe for everyone attending.

Safe, Happy & Creative

Parent/Carer Supervision

All children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult throughout the session.

Parents/carers remain responsible for supervising and supporting their child during activities.

Workshops are kept small (maximum 20 children) to ensure a calm and well-managed environment.

Safeguarding

I hold an Enhanced DBS check for working with children.

Although parents/carers remain present, I am committed to maintaining a safe and respectful space for all families.

Any safeguarding concerns will be handled in line with UK guidance.

Risk Assessments

A risk assessment is carried out for each venue used.

Equipment and materials are checked prior to every session.

Care is taken to minimise trip hazards and manage spillages promptly.

Materials & Equipment

Only non-toxic, child-friendly art materials are used.

Child-safe scissors and tools are provided.

Protective aprons are available to help protect clothing.

First Aid & Emergencies

A stocked first aid kit is available at every session.

Parents/carers are responsible for their child’s immediate care; however, assistance will always be offered if needed.

In the event of a more serious incident, emergency services will be contacted and parents/carers supported appropriately.

Allergies & Medical Information

Parents/carers are asked to inform me of any allergies or medical conditions prior to attending.

Every effort is made to ensure materials used are suitable for all participants.
